The White Sands 300 Classic is where East meets West in Alamogordo, New Mexico. This is a combined Fall Meet for both Chrysler 300 Clubs on September 17-21, 2014. Activities begin with dinner at the Allen's home on September 17th. Self-guided tour days to Old Mesilla and Ruidoso are scheduled for September 18 and 19. Mesilla is one of the oldest villages in New Mexico and has retained the ambience and authenticity of old Mexico. The Ruidoso Tour takes you thru the Mescalero Apache Indian Reservation to the quaint mountain town of Ruidoso, which is a tourist destination for the southwest. Both tours include interesting optional stops along the way that include space/NASA heritage stops and a drive up the beautiful Sierra Blanca Mountain. On Friday evening, September 19, there will be a Fiesta Picnic at White Sands National Monument. The dunes of brilliant gypsum sands provide a perfect sunset photo opportunity for your 300s and other Mopars. Several short tours and attractions are also available in and around Alamogordo. The featured event of the Fall Meet is the White Sands Balloon Invitational on September 20 and 21. Hot Air Balloons are flown from the White Sands and Alamogordo locations on both mornings. You will be able to stroll around the balloon area and watch the inflation process up close and personal. The car show and banquet will be held in Alamogordo on September 20. Hopefully, each of you will leave the Fall Meet knowing why New Mexico is called the Land of Enchantment.

The White Sands Balloon Invitational will be early Saturday morning September 20th and early Sunday morning September 21st.

Our host hotel is the Fairfield Inn & Suites Alamogordo, 300 Panorama Boulevard, Alamogordo, New Mexico 88310. Please plan to make reservations early. Take advantage of the $94 rooms/$99 suites available to us if booked by July 1, 2014.

There is plenty of room for trailers and tow vehicles in well lit Fairfield Inn parking lot. Any attendees with motorhomes may consider the Desert Paradise RV Park (575-434-2266). They have long spacious pull thru sites, and located just 1.6 miles west of the Fairfield Inn.

Thursday, September 18th:
Optional driving tours to Old Mesillia, White Sands Missile Range, NASA Space Museums, Ruidoso (7,000 ft), Mescalero Apache Indian Reservation, Inn of the Indian Mountain Gods Resort & Casino, Sierra Blanca (12,000 ft), Cloudcroft (8,600 ft), Petroglyphs, Billy the Kid Territory, Ghost Towns
Dinner: 5:30 PM. On your own...Numerous options available
7:00 PM: Chrysler Club International business meeting in Hospitality/Conference Room
8:00 PM: Auction in Hospitality/Conference Room

Friday, September 19th:
Continue optional driving tours, allowing time to reach White Sands Fiesta Picnic on time.
4:30 PM: Leave hotel for about 45 minute drive to Picnic area.
5:30 PM: Catered Fiesta Picnic at White Sands National Monument

Saturday, September 20th:
7:00 AM: (OPTIONAL) White Sands Balloon Invitational Launch at White Sands National Monument about 45 minutes from Hotel, tight scheduling, if you have a car to show)
9:15 AM: Leave hotel for Car Show at Alameda Park
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM: Car Show at Alameda Park (in Alamogordo - about 2 miles from hotel)
2:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Optional local Alamogordo sites including Cloudcroft, Petroglyphs, Space Museums, I-MAX Theater, Zoo
5:30 PM: Leave hotel for banquet at Stella Vita Restaurant (about 2 miles from hotel)
6:00 PM - 6:30 PM: Happy Hour
6:30 PM: Dinner followed by Awards Ceremony

Sunday, September 21st:
7:00 A.M.: White Sands Balloon Invitational launch @ Alamogordo Balloon Park.
