It is not my intention to bore you with a ton of restoration pictures. I could probably fill up ten Web page's worth! Basically, we started on the car March 15th, stripped it down, gutted it, repaired the body as required, and put it all back together. The car was painted in the first week of June, and reassembled in time to go to Chryslers at Carlisle July 14th.

Here's a quick few shots of what happened.

  • The car is ...stripped ! (March 31, 2000)

  • Subframe and components were taken to be blasted and powder-coated (March 18, 2000)

  • Subframe and its components reassembled (April 8, 2000)

  • Engine is plunked into place ...(April 9, 2000)

  • And shortly after, is running ! and broken in for 1/2hour.

  • Engine and trans installed, subframe is now rolling ! (April 17, 2000)

  • And now is rolled back under car... which has had alot of bodywork done to it already (April 20, 2000)
