Efficient placement of tools

The results

One of the little finicky things that always tries my patience is reinstalling the arm rests. The screws fall out when you are trying to get them started in the clips or the angle of the screw is wrong, etc. etc. so in the middle of one of my sleepless nights; I thought that I could make life easier if I could hold the screw in position in the armrest before I installed it. I first stated thinking about using a small metal clip to keep the screw tight in the arm rest; but in the middle of breakfast, I realized that I was holding the solution in my hands. The humble plastic container that my cottage cheese came in was about to be nobly repurposed. With the container lid in my hands, I ran out to the garage and drilled the appropriate sized hole in the lid. A few quick snips and I had a handy washer to hold the screws in position. This also worked to hold the plastic finish panel to the power seat while I was trying to get the seat studs lined up to drop through the floor pan.
