MOPAR PARTS LIST EARLY 50's TO MID 60's

 

   * Hello fellow 300 members and Mopar collectors. Follows is a parts list that will fit most 300's and many other Mopar makes and models .

   * I am a jobber for the following NEW and some NOS parts. If total comes to $100 or more I will pay shipping

     in the lower 48 states. Heavy items and cores for rebuild, shipping applies.

     $200 or more total order, less 5% discount, (labor excluded).

   * Export shipping always applies plus a $20 export document fee will be added for orders out side the US.

   * I am not a parts salvage yard and most likely do not have body, trim and chassis parts to sell. Exception is some

     hemi motor parts.

 

   PARTS LIST:

   1) Brake light switch, $11.50 most years.

       a) Backup light switch on 2 speed PowerFlyte transmission, $13.50 ea.

   2) Vacuum safety switch on manifold, $13.50

   3) Water temp sender $19. Chrysler 55/56, 57-59; 60-63. Fit other models and years. Check with me.

   4) Radiator hoses, upper $13.50, lower $15, bypass hose, $7. Fit 57/58 300, NY, Saratoga, Windsor, Imperial & DeSoto.

   5) Water pump shaft, bearing and seal kit w/ gasket, 1936 to 1958, $29. 1959 to 1978 $24. Rebuilding service available. See #17.  

   6) Water pump gasket only, $3. Most makes, models & engine sizes.

   7) Points $7.50 each; condenser $6.50; rotor $6.50; distributor cap, $17.50

   8) Radio condensers w/ red caution tags $11ea. (3 req.)

   9) Generator brushes  $8.50, starter, 1957 up $11. 1956, $30 I have to modify from 57's. Lots of labor. 

   10) AFB carb kits  $44ea. WCFB carb kit, $44. Air horn gasket only: $4. Two barrel kit 1955 up, most $38.

   11) Front wheel grease caps, 1955- 1972, (import) $7.50 ea. Domestic NOS, $15 ea. Grease cap installation tool to protect the cap: $4.50

   12) Steering box rebuild kit, 1955 to 1957 aluminum box. Includes all shaft seals, internal lip seals & o-rings.

        $43. Needle bearings extra. Usually not needed.

   13) Power steering canister flat seal ring 1953/56 $8. 1957 up PS canister seal $6;  1953/56 power steering pump filter. Check with me.

   13a. Power steering pump kits. 1957 Thompson aluminum pump,$37. 1958 up cast iron pump, $27. Kits include shaft seal, o-rings gaskets & canister seal plus instructions. Everything to stop it leaking. Shaft Bearing extra cost.

   14) Gas tank filler neck seal, $3 ea.  Tank sending unit seal, $3 ea. 1957/58 Thompson power steering cap seal. $3 ea.

   15) Upper and lower control bushings, upper 1957/58 Chrysler & Imperial $69, 1959 up $49 set 4. lower (2) $37 set. Most years.

   16) Ball joints, upper $42 each, lower $54 each. Most years

   17) Rebuilt water pump, 1955/56 hemi $154 + $37 kit. Includes bearing, shaft, seal and gasket. Rebuild includes extra labor to machine and glass bead large one piece housing. 1957/58 $75 + $29 kit. 1959 to 1978 $65 + $24 kit.  Your core exchange. Extra charge if your pump has plastic impeller. Must replace with steel.

   18) Exhaust manifold anti rattle heat riser spring, $3.50 ea. Many years.

   19) Round and oval air filters, 1957 up $13 ea.

   20) A/C compressor conversion kit from early shaft seal, (1957 to 1961) to late seal. $79. In future you would only need late seal at $30 ea. kit includes late seal.

   21) 1957/58 300 Hub cap mask set of 4, $75. Complete instructions included. You won't believe how nice your cap painting will look. Go to www.glnelson.com and click on 57/58 300 to view 14 photos that show how to use and the end results using the mask set.

   22) Rear spring shackle bushings, (8 pcs) $39 set

   23) Rear spring eye special round head bolt. Holds the spring together in center. Pair $10.

   24) Rear leaf spring, heavy duty woven cotton, anti squeak leaf separators. Duplicate of original. Material to replace 2 springs all leaf tips. $20.

   25) Center link dust shields, $4 pair. These are for the tapered ends that insert into steering arm and idler arm. These are not greased and use this seal and not a grease cup.

   25a) Idler arm rebuild kit. $ Check with me.

   25b) Tie rod connector sleeves, 50's to 70's. $  . These are the left and right hand threaded tie rod adjusters that get chewed up from pipe wrench marks.

   25c) Tie rod ends, $    . Check on availability & price for your year.

   26) Starter solenoid, on starter, (56 to 59 with MDT starter, $54. 59 to late 60's with 1889 200 starter $43. 

   27) Carter NOS short ceramic fuel filter elements with gasket, $26 ea. New zinc plated springs for elements, $4ea. NOS tall elements $29. New zinc plated spring under filter $4ea.

   28) Replacement fuel line between carbs 1955 to 1957 300, fitting ends same as original. Hose for all gas mixtures, Nylon reinforced, 50 PSI test, $18. Specify year. Rubber Fuel line 5/16" for tank and to pump from steel line, 18" for both, $4. Same high quality as line at carb's.

   29) Brass fitting 90 degree out of rear Carter fuel filter to hose end, $4. Brass "T" fitting out of front Carter fuel filter, $6.

   30) Generator roller bearings, (sealed for life).  $7.50 ea. Never oil bearing again. 1955 to 1959 2 req. 1960 up 1 required at front. Rear is bushing that I custom machine slot so wick can lube generator shaft. New bushing and 2" felt wick, $15.

   31) Brake booster rebuild kit, (bellows type, 1957 to 1961?). Includes all lip seals, o-rings, filter and reference guide. $38. Does not include rubber bellows. Rebuild service available. See #35 for Parts Doc Rubber rejuvenator that will extend the useful life and recondition bellows to a supple condition.

  31a) Brake Booster, bellows style brake booster metal end plates and all nuts and bolts cad plated with yellow chromate for a concour rebuild.

       Rebuild, $450 with cadmium plated parts, seal kit and Rejuvenate your rubber bellows. Your core required.

   32) Torque converters "rebuilt" 1955 to 1961. Completely disassembled, hot tanked, new ring gear (if required), (crank studs if required), internal thrust washers, welded, balanced and pressure tested. Do not run an old T.C. on a rebuilt trans. I can send a photo of the sludge inside an old converter and metal particles that will end up in your new trans. $320 exchange. Shipping will apply.

   32a) Replacement starter ring gear for torque converters, 1955 to 1961, Powerflite only. 146 tooth $45ea.

   33) 57 Chrysler tail lenses, NORS. For 300C, NY, Saratoga, Windsor. $75 pair.

   34) 57 Chrysler original used backup lenses. No cracks or sun checks. Need dressed and polished to look new. $75 to $95 based on condition. Photos.

   35) Parts Doc brand Rubber Rejuvenator. 16 oz. concentrate, $25. Includes 16 oz. spray and squeeze bottles with sponge applicator. A must for every restoration project. The highest quality moisturizers with no drying agents. Will return old stiff rubber parts to a supple condition. Use full strength or up to 2:1 for rejuvenating. Soften rubber brake bellows, front trunion joint boot, all glass seals, wing window seals, fire wall grommets, ball joint and tie rod dust boots, etc. Use to topical treat tires, rubber seals, vinyl, plastic and leather. Use 4:1 to 8:1 as a topical treatment. Specially formulated and nothing like it on the market. Rubber must not be cracked or brittle. A little flex and my rejuvenator will bring it back to useful life.

   36) Cast iron Torqueflite pan gasket. $12 ea. Powerflite $15 ea. Rubber impregnated fiber gasket is the best you can buy. These are Not cork.

   37) DELUXE TRANSMISSION REBUILD KITS, 56-61. Torqueflite $250 includes shipping in the US. Powerflite deluxe kits, $195. includes shipping in US.

       Deluxe kits include all clutch friction and steel discs, paper gaskets, external and internal rubber lip and O-rings, & Steel seal rings. 

       Standard kits, (no clutch plates or friction discs). Includes, paper gaskets, rubber and steel seal rings, o-rings + front and rear seals, TF $150, PF $125.

       OTHER TRANS PARTS: Pump drive sleeves $37; 1956 to 1959 tail shaft bearings, (special and very hard to find) $32ea.

       Thrust washers & bushings ($8 to $15); Front high temperature silicone seal $22; Rear seal, Buna-n $12; Small Diameter Kick down lever shaft seal, TF & PF $5, Spring and roller kits, $29; KICK DOWN AND REVERSE BANDS,(PREMIUM LINED) $55 each exchange. Clutches and plates separate, $14each; PF shift lever steel cased external seal,$12; Cast iron NOS reaction shaft,$75; Front clutch hub press in replacement collar, $30; Neutral safety switch on transmission $25, (no stock currently); TF & PF Speedometer pinions, good used. Various gear count.

       Check w/ me. $60. Plus many good used hard parts.

   38) 300 TRANSMISSION CONVERSION KIT TO HEAVY DUTY. 1956-1961 Torqueflite. Requires custom machining and modification of clutch piston to allow for 5th clutch and disc, New piston return spring, governor weight and spring. Requires core parts exchange. $165 with 5th steel plate and friction disc. Required for HD trans. If you do not have correct kick down lever add $55.

       NOTE: Most 300's have had the transmission exchanged out long ago with a standard. This upgrade will bring it back to factory HD specs.

   39) Tail light chrome housings for all 59 Chrysler products left and right set. No pitting or damage. Very respectable drivers. Easy re-chrome for show. $200 set.

   40) NOS 1957 to 1959 door and ignition cylinder lock set keyed alike. Includes pair of original aluminum Lion Crest keys with tag number $175 set.

  40a) NOS ignition switch, (does not include key cylinder as listed in #40). 1957 and 1958 Chrysler, Imperial & Dodge. I purchased at good price and passing it along. A bargain at $19 each.

   41) Power steering pump kits. 1957 aluminum Thompson and 1958 up cast iron pump. Includes shaft seal, gaskets, o-rings and canister seal plus instructions. $25. Shaft bearings extra. Price on request. Re-build service on a time available basis. $220 with kit.

   42) NOS 1957 to 1959 glove box locks. Includes a set of original aluminum oval keys. You can have trunk lock re-keyed to new keys. $30

   44) Upper control arm bumpers, 1957 up, many years. $19 pair. Steel Rubber Parts gets $32.

   45) Strut rod bushings, 1957 to 1964, $19 pair.

   46) Neutral safety starter switch on transmission, Used only in stock. Tested in excellent condition.

   47) Speedometer pinions, TF & PF, 17, 18 & 19 tooth, used excellent condition. May have others.$60 ea.

   48) Concourse restored 1957 to 1961 twin strut mirrors. Completely disassembled, repairs made, stripped and re-plated, new mirror, SS mounting screws, $400 ea. Core exchange or core charge.

   49) Blank.

   50) Fuel filter, end of pickup tube in fuel tank. Many years. 5/16" and 3/8" tubes. $8 each.

   51) Original style stamped, carb to air cleaner 1/4" wing nuts, ($3ea.) and 3/8" battery hold down wing nuts, ($4 ea.) ,

       wing nuts new and cadmium plated. 

   52) Mint set of 57 300, D500, Fury air cleaners in primer. $1025 set. Includes a pair of air filters.

   53) Rebuild 1961 to 1968 floating style power steering pump bracket. If yours is worn at the pivot bolt holes and wobbles, then you need this rebuild that includes boring out the original holes, custom machine 4 step bushings that are welded in, includes new grade 5 bolt with lock nut, $95. Glass beaded ready to paint.
