Emails from the meet
The Omaha meet is now in the history books and Christie and I have to say it was a great one. Kurt and Sally Brueske did an EXCELLENT job of providing great events and logistics for everything. They both really do deserve a standing ovation for this meet.
Also many more members showed up than we expected which made it even more enjoyable. Lots of parking lot time with stories and a few repairs along the way. Omaha is really a great location and we both now look at it totally different than before coming to the area. A safe journey to all who attended on the way home and we look forward to seeing all of you at future meets.

Echoing and adding to John's points... Kurt and Sally most deservedly DID receive a standing ovation at the banquet last night! We are truly blessed that this delightful couple joined our club awhile back and hosted this meet. We also were blessed with incredible weather - sunny skies with low humidity and zero rain the entire meet! How rare is that? We not only saw "over the top" venues but also some incredible cars that we have not seen before at a meet - how about the 71 mile, totally original 300G from Nebraska? For me, that alone was worth the trip! Much thanks to Steve Frisell for bringing the car to the show. Plus a 4-speed 300F GT Special and so much more! Since I'm only 4 hours from Omaha, Kurt and I have already discussed that we MUST go back and spend another day at the Speedway Motors museum. There was simply too much to see for one visit!
That all said, it was, as always, the attendees that make a great meet truly memorable, not just the cars and attractions. "Parking lot" gatherings that last well into the night have returned with vigor, complete with great stories, bad jokes, lots of laughter, and interesting libations. The teamwork in helping members with mechanical maladies (yes, we had our fair share this time) was truly awesome! Folks, this is not hyperbole. You had to be there.
Thanks again Kurt and Sally!

Kudos to Sally and Kurt Brueske for hosting a fabulous meet in Omaha! Everything was top drawer from host hotel to venues and banquet! Thanks for the memories!

I just walked in the door. I'll add my congratulations to Sally and Kurt for their very well planned and executed meet in and around Omaha. The weather was wonderful, the events were outstanding and I was so glad to see everyone that attended. Our little family. The cars, of course, were also a treat to see.
Thanks again to all for the memories. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the next one in Louisiana!

I want to echo the thoughts of others. Kathy and I thank Sally and Kurt for a wonderful meet. All of the activities were very interesting and the people at the activities were so hospitable to open their private collections and their homes to our crew. From a muscle car collection to die for to a very interesting breweriana (sp?) collection with one-of-a-kind advertisements.
If you weren't there in person you missed Sally's home- made cookies and desserts. Too bad for you.
Thank you again Sally and Kurt.

I wish to express my thanks to Kurt and Sally for a great meet in Omaha. My sister, Kathy, and I had a wonderful time and greatly enjoyed every venue. The banquet was outstanding. Loved watching "Fireball 500" on the big screen. Also greatly enjoyed everyone's company.
Thanks for a great meet,
Jeff Bailey and Kathy Hill.
Kudos also from Canada! Especially Sally. She voted for my car!??

I echo John’s comments on our Omaha Meet. Well said! Kurt and Sally did an incredible job of organizing the tours and food delivery, which I know from experience is not an easy task.
This was my first 300 Club event and certainly one that I will remember. The tours were great, especially the Peter Fink Collection, which was incredible!
My son Mark and I sincerely appreciate the organization and the opportunity to meet new friends and visit with old friends again.
Thank you for a truly great time!

Echoing the praises of our other attendees - Sally and Kurt teed up and executed a marvelous Meet for all of us! A wonderful mix of new First-Time Meet friends joining members who have attended previous Meets. 16 states represented along with Lindsey Fuller who cruised in his F from Winnipeg. All years' Letter Cars displayed except for a '55 and a Hurst. Even had a local Mopar Club member show up with his original low mile '79 Canadian-built 300 with its km-calibrated speedo reading 28,000 km. 8 of our 16 displayed Letter Cars were driven to Omaha, with Jamie and Dawn Hyde pulling in the Long Distance honors of about 1,100 miles with their K. Other oldies driven were Russ Thill's '60 Saratoga from WI and Mike Meier's '68 300 from MN. Our visits to the SAC and Speedway Motors Museums just whet our appetites to revisit them.
Great job Sally and Kurt!
