How to Make Motor Mount Heat Shields
For Ram Cars

I needed a quickie motor mount shield (left side) for a RamK. I started with an OE 300J shield as an example. The Factory boys simply took a non-ram 62-64 shield, cut out the compound curve and bent the edges down and over. They then cut a 4-1/2 X 3-1/2 piece of sheet metal and laid it over the bent over edges. The factory then welded the new piece to the modified shield.
I just riveted my piece since it was easier and my RamK is not a concours contender.
