News

Welcome to the 17th issue of the 300 e-news. This issue has the photos and a write up from the Alamogordo meet in September. Our thanks to Bill and Marilyn Allen for hosting a wonderful joint meet. Next year Ray Jones is hosting the Bentonville AR meet in May. Ray will have more information shortly. Mark Souders, Tony Rinaldi and Tony Bevacqua are hosting the summer/fall meet in Macungie PA in late July. Not only a joint meet with both clubs, this meet is also part of the Das Awkscht Fescht, a long running and large car show. The show is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the 300 letter car and our cars will be featured under a special tent. This is a great opportunity to show the rest of the world what a 300 is all about. We've set of goal of 60 300's for the meet. If it runs, we want your car there! Over in the parts department, the F, G and H seat project is moving along, but at a slow pace. We have the materials but are looking for a trim shop to sew the covers. I hope to have more information on that subject in January. We've added new parts to the club store this year and re-ordered some old favorites. A few new ones are still in the pipeline. I think this is the largest investment the club has made in reproduction parts. Winter is a good time to make updates to the car. Take a look at what's new and let us know what you need. Also take a look at this issue's Video Corner, it covers a mini meet at Jack Buttino's in 1983. Gee, don't we all look young?                                                                                                 Jim Krausmann

Thanks to Jamie Hyde and the club parts committee, the club store now has the door stars available for the K.

If you like picture puzzles, here are new ones. Take your pick of Ron Fedoryk at work on his C engine, Phil Irish's red B, and the grille from a C.
Pictures
Jeff Miklas found this collection of rams at Chryslers @ Carlisle last year.

Our last issue asked if you could identify this club member.

It is Sandy and Larry Jett.

Anyone have a clever caption for this picture?
