Carl Bilter writes: 55 years after the founding of the Club, we have finally located, and validated, an extant example of perhaps the rarest factory production Letter Car built.
We have found a factory built 3 speed stick 300J.
Only 7 were built and until now, none have been known to still exist.
The car was located at Franks Auto Salvage in Fort Dodge, IA and has been purchased
by someone in the Pacific northwest. Click here for pictures. We look forward to hearing more about this car.

I've seen photos of the clay models but never knew the car was actually built.
You can read about Exner's personal cars here.
You might remember Édouard Rodrigue built a replica.
See ENews 34.

How many of us check our brake adjustment every 5,000 miles?
Nick Taylor writes:
I got new license plates for my 300K project. I wanted RAM 300K, but they were already taken. Now I just need to put the car together.
Guy Morice writes:
I was recently commenting about a vehicle I saw several years ago while attending the Michigan State Police Vehicle Performance Trials. It was in the parking lot area of
Grattan Raceway in Grattan, Michigan. It was a black Dodge magnum and bore manufacturer license plates. Upon closer inspection, I noticed it had a modern Chrysler 300 front end and there was a diesel badge on the tailgate. Found out later it was probably a European market car.
My friend commented back that this reminded him of an article he saw many years ago. It was a 300D station wagon. This fellow knows his letter cars, as he has owned several over the years. Anyone out there have knowledge of a 300D wagon??
