I quit my job as a historian
because there was no future in that.
As you will see in the Events section, the location for our spring meet has changed from Uncasville, CT to Mystic, CT. The new host hotel is The Quality Inn on Whitehall Avenue.
The Club Store will soon have arm rest bases for the C and D. Thanks go to Keith Boonstra for his extensive work bringing this project to life. The first lot of bases sold out, and the second lot is in process.

It will probably be an updated style that works like the original but looks a little different than the NOS one. Also ask him about windshield trim clips he may have some new ones if yours are missing.
Jamie Hyde writes: J and K owners -- you can replace your turn signal lenses and rear license plate lens with new parts from And while you are at it, check Vans LLC. They have some of the same items.

From Gil Cunningham:
I didn't remember ever writing that 300C article (1972). Not too bad. It was nice to read it again. Didn't see any mistakes. Whew!

From Jack Boyle:
A few years back I was given a personal tour of the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in Birmingham. The director said they had the most complete sports history of all Alabama natives. I immediately asked about Tim Flock and he directed me to a small display. I thought it was interesting that they would even find room amongst all the Heismans and Baseball items. But there it was. I have attached the best photo I could get of the glass case. (Click to enlarge to full picture).

Write us with whatever might be on your mind.
If you like picture puzzles, here are new ones. Take your pick of the 300 club swim team, the cars at Blacksburg, and a B on the beach.
