It is an early spring here in central New York after a winter that never really arrived (hooray!). The lack of snow left plenty of time to install the new engine in the J. Click here to follow that restoration. The warm weather has me thinking it won't be long before we gather in western Michigan for our spring meet. I missed both meets last year so I am ready to go. How about you?

Jeff Miklas writes:
I've attached a photo of a picture frame I found in the clearance bin at a local Kohls department store. It is a 4 X 6 heavy pewter frame. Very well finished. It says ROUTE 66 AMERICA'S HIGHWAY and incorporates a 300C coupe as well as some teepees and cacti and some seven state abbreviations up the side. There was only one. I looked all thru the bin but no luck. I asked their service department to see if they could get any more but since it was "clearance" they weren't optimistic. There was no manufacturer label at all on the box.

I am part of the Keeneland Concours deElegance here in Lexington, Kentucky. We want to get the word out about next year's event (July 16, 2016), so Chrysler car owners can be thinking about coming to our event here in beautiful thoroughbred horse country. As part of next year's event, one of my goals is to put together an exclusive class of nice Chrysler 300 Letter cars.
